Bega Multicultural Centre is a leading provider of services to the local community. We support migrants, refugees and asylum seekers to access the resources they need to thrive in our city, and to feel connected to their community.
Our Migrant Support Service can help recently arrived migrants and refugees with information & referrals for Centrelink, employment, accommodation, education, health services and any other matters related our settlement.
The Women’s Service is a great place for women of any age from any background both recent arrivals and long-term residents to chat and support one another together. Free and confidential individual support is also available.
Young people can find someone to talk to, meet new friends, enjoy sports and fun activities, find a job, chat to someone about school or family matters and explore new opportunities in a new environment.
We acknowledge the traditional custodians of all the lands on which we meet, work and live and recognise that this land has always been and always will be Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander.
We respect and value Australia’s First Nation people’s enormous resilience, courage, determination and often unrecognised contributions to this country’s social and economic development. We walk together in solidarity in the shared pain of the past and with shared hope for the future.
